Isle where Dara and friends have organized the tenth annual Lucky Dube Tribute.  As usual, fans of reggae music and those wanting to contribute to the feeding program are being encouraged to bring along with them non-perishable food items that will go towards the initiative.

“I have the privilege ah, you know, Bird‘s Isle mi gaan down last year.  I have di privilege ah open back di brand new Bird‘s Isle where we‘ll pay the tenth annual tribute to the late great Lucky Dube.  Again, da just wahn continuation, wahn fundraising just before school open.  Again, dis one ya da ten dollars fi enter.  Same normal way how we normally do.  We set up wahn barrel when yo come een because people done know when yo come da Dara event yo bring lee food stuff.  Ih wahn be wahn clean, conscious reggae show, of course.  You know we have nuff selectaz, I myself wahn di show videos, live show with Lucky Dube, ih pickney, ih daughter and everything and da wahn Sunday evening.  That da di sixth.  Wi di staat from four, from early wi go ‘til midnight.”
