Last of 10 KTV semi-finalists chosen

Last night at Club Calypso the last of ten semi-finalists was selected from our annual Karaoke Television competition. But last certainly did not mean least. Here’s how it went.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the winner…moving on to our semi-final round which starts next week, Tuesday is contestant number…contestant five, Miss Ernestine Carballo.”

Joining Ernestine Carballo in the KTV semi-finals are Vivian Jones Catherine Paulino, Dejon Tucker, LeRoi Hyde, Adilean Coffin, Sheridath Williams, Patricia Leyton, Elizabeth Villanueva and Louis Maskall. The first of two semi-final rounds takes place this Tuesday at nine. Tickets for the semi-finals are five dollars each and go on sale beginning Thursday morning at Channel 5 on Regent Street.
