Man Charged for Antelope Street Shooting
Twenty-four-year-old Kendall Green is back behind bars tonight following a shooting incident last week. This morning, Green who is no stranger to the police or to the court was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser. Green appeared optimistic during arraignment claiming he is being targeted by the police. He is accused of injuring Marvin Ramirez and Ryan Arnold last Thursday on Antelope Street Extension. Green was charged with deadly means of harm and wounding upon Ramirez and Arnold. Senior Magistrate Fraser denied bail. Green claims police picked him up because they believe he has retaliated for the murder of a friend. He further told the court that he is recovering from a shooting and that his doctor has declared him medically unfit to work for one year. However, the Senior Magistrate explained to him that he will have to continue his recovery at the Belize Central Prison since the alleged incident occurred with the use of a firearm. Now, Green has beaten a murder charge for the fatal stabbing up of a Nigerian taxi-man in Belize City in 2016. Months after, Green was riding his bicycle on North Front Street and was attacked and stabbed several times in the area of Majestic Alley but lived to tell the tale.
