Pair charged in wounding of bystander

It did not take long for Belize City police to arrest Leonard Myers a.k.a. “Ghost” and Brandon Tillett for the shooting incident that occurred around two on Tuesday afternoon. According to authorities, on that day, Myers and Tillett ran into Trench Alley firing shots at another young man. But instead of hitting their intended target, believed to be one Leonard Arnold, one of the bullets caught Ingrid Williams. Williams, a housewife, told police that at the time of the shooting she was inside her house talking with two women. Once the shooting started, Williams says she and her friends dropped to the ground, but she soon felt a burning sensation in her right arm and realized that she was shot. At the scene, police recovered nine nine-millimetre shells. Both Myers and Tillett have been charged with attempted murder and were remanded to Hattieville Prison.
