Cops still seek clues in teen’s abduction
And while still in the Cayo district, police report no new developments in the case of the 16-year old Belize City student who was found nude and tied up, but otherwise unharmed, Wednesday morning near Benque Viejo. Investigations continue with police looking for two suspects whom the girl claims forced her into a car as she walked to school, and drove her west where she was left in a wooded area between Benque and the western border. The alleged victim claims that she did not recognize the men who abducted her.
