Cayo broadcaster celebrates 11th year on air
It’s not a programme that runs here on Channel 5, but we’ll still pause to big up a colleague in Cayo. Tonight marks the eleventh year for the ever-popular Pandy Show. Kent Pandy has been hosting his weekly one-man band from the studios of Channel 3 in San Ignacio since 1992…and the children of that community are much richer for it. The Pandy Show is the second longest running programme on Belizean television, the longest being this newscast, which debuted in December 1991.
