Family Holds to Faith as Aaron King Remains in Recovery

Aaron King

Three persons remain hospitalized at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital following a weekend of gun violence in the Old Capital. One of the victims, Aaron King, we can confirm from relatives was shot up to six times, damaging his lung and several internal organs.  The prognosis was not good and King was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. Well twenty-four hours later, and there is good news because while King is not out of the woods, his condition has improved.  His sister Shakera Young told News Five today that her brother is showing positive signs of recovery and will remain in the ICU for further monitoring. In an interview with News Five, Young says her faith and that of her family will see King pull through.

“He is still critical because he is still in the ICU. At this point what they have disclosed to us as a family, Duane you know that I am a Christian and I don’t claim sickness, I don’t claim any of those stuff. So whatever the doctor told me, I told my mom, leave him with that report because God has the final say in it. So whatever the doctor said, we accept what he said as a physician; however, we have a greater physician so that is the report we are holding on to and by fate we are saying my brother will make it out of this.”
