Valley of Peace farmer murdered
On Thursday, the village of Valley of Peace in the Cayo District was the scene of the nation’s tenth murder for the year. According to police reports, just after four on Thursday afternoon, officers were called to an area about a quarter mile in on the main road to the village, where they found the body of a man lying in the bushes. The cops immediately noticed a large wound to the neck and recovered an orange bicycle from the vicinity. The man was transported to the K.H.M.H. where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The victim has since been identified as twenty-six year old Ian Cus, a farmer of Valley of Peace. Police continue to investigate, but tonight no arrests have been made.
