Belizean soldier prepares for assault on Baghdad
Meanwhile, one Belizean serving in the U.S. Army is probably just waking up to the taste of dust as his unit prepares for a climactic assault on Baghdad. Twenty-four year old Sergeant Frank Kuylen the Third of Belize City is serving on the front lines with the second battalion of the 502nd infantry. News 5 today spoke to his parents, Frank Junior and Irma Kuylen, who told us that their son called home yesterday to say that he was okay, but would soon be going into battle. Kuylen is one of an estimated several hundred Belizeans who are serving in the U.S. military.
