Franz Parke Case Back to Court on Monday
The Court of Appeal concludes its business for the current term on Friday, but one of its judges is facing a fight to keep his job. Recently appointed Franz Parke continues to face criticism over his lack of judicial experience and ties to Prime Minister Dean Barrow and shortly before his appointment, P.U.P. Leader John Briceño, through Courtenay Coye and Company, filed a fixed date claim making a formal challenge in the Supreme Court. The first hearing, Briceño said today, is scheduled for Monday.

“I think that there’s going to be a hearing; I think it’s Monday at two o’clock. So we will see what is going to be the decision of the court.”
