No injuries, but trucks mashed in N. Hwy. collision

Story Picture
No one was seriously injured, but two vehicles were heavily damaged this morning in a mishap on the outskirts of Belize City. A G.M.C. pickup was heading into town on the Northern Highway around nine a.m. when upon reaching mile two and a half, two trucks emerged from the Budget Rent-A-Car lot, one towing the other. The G.M.C. pickup could not stop in time and ran hard into the side of the Mitsubishi L200 as it was being towed across the road. Officers from the traffic branch responded in their as yet unblemished Fords to take charge of the situation.
