Bz. City man charged with firearm offences
In police news, a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with Wednesday’s seizure of illegal weapons in Belize City. Forty-eight year old Leeford Karl Reneau of an East Canal address has been charged with one count of possession of an unlicensed firearm, two counts of prohibited ammunition, three counts of unlicensed ammunition and one count of drug trafficking associated with the discovery of two and a half pounds of marijuana. Police are still seeking others in their investigation.
