Cop Nails Cop at Club for Unlicensed Gun
Aside from the Roaring Creek police officer who is in trouble for his drunken behaviour, in Belize City a cop was detained and is in custody for an incident that happened outside of the Elements Night Club on Saturday night. This morning, Police Constable Carlisle Bol was taken to court and arraigned for the possession of an unlicensed firearm. He pleaded not guilty and since there is no bail for this offense, Bol was remanded and will be applying for bail this coming Friday through his attorney, Leeroy Banner. According to Corporal Briceño Chub, Bol was among a group of men inside the club when he was spotted having an argument over a beer that had spilled on his shirt. The officer said he told Bol to step outside of the club and this is when he pulled out a shiny object. Bol was subsequently searched and found to be carrying a point twenty-two calibre rifle for which as it turned out, he did not have a license.
