Western union security guard succumbs to gunshot wounds
The victim of an attempted robbery at the Western Union’s office on Regent Street last month has ended with the death of fifty-three year old Glenford Williams. Williams was hospitalized at the K.H.M.H. receiving treatment for gunshot wounds and on Saturday, he succumbed to the injuries. The security guard was on duty when around eleven a.m., three young men wearing rags and armed with pistols busted into the business. A crossfire ensued and Williams and two others were injured. Since the incident police have nabbed Brandon Taylor and a minor and are looking for a third person, Lincoln Hemsley.
