Govt. will pay to repair damaged school
The administration, staff and students of Bethel Assembly Primary are counting their blessings tonight after government announced its decision to repair the school in the wake of last week’s fire. A press release issued today indicated that the Ministry of Education has presented a grant for almost nineteen thousand dollars to Reverend Lloyd Wright, the school’s general manager. This is the amount required to restore the roof, walls and electrical system of the building on Freetown Road, which was damaged by fire a week ago Monday. Bethel Assembly is home to one hundred and twenty students.
