Stabbing victim recounts assault

Story Picture
Earlier in this newscast we heard the testimony of a hospitalised driver who gave his version of a fatal traffic accident. Now we return to the K.H.M.H. to hear from another patient, a stabbing victim who nearly lost her life on Wednesday. As in the first case, her version of events does not match that given to police by her accused assailant. Once again, Jacqueline Woods reports.

Eighteen-year-old Jeaneal Castillo remains hospitalised after her ex-boyfriend twenty-nine year old Marvin “Cooklan” Card nearly killed her. Castillo received a total of three stab wounds to her chest and hand after Card attacked her with an ice pick as she sat on a sofa inside his house.

Castillo believes she was stabbed because Card refused to accept that their relationship was over. He told her that if he could not have her then no one else will.
