House of Albert candidate burglarised
Yesterday we reported on the wounding of P.U.P. Lake I campaign manager Evan Garnett; tonight it’s the burglary committed at the home of U.D.P. Albert Division candidate Marilyn Williams. According to police, Williams reported that sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday her home in Buttonwood Bay was broken into. Stolen were a laptop computer and assortment of jewellery totalling just under five thousand dollars in value. Police tell News 5 that they have no reason to believe that either the shooting of Garnett or the burglary of Williams were politically motivated.
