And according to the cops, Flores and Major have had previous run-ins with the law. Flores was waiting for his day in court for a charge involving a grenade that was hurled at a crowd of bystanders near the K.H.M.H. on Carnival Day last year. Officer in Charge of C.I.B., Superintendent Julio Valdez, says the shooting was an act of self defense.

Supt. Julio Valdez, O.C., C.I.B.
“Mr. Flores, now deceased, is well known to us and has been dealt with as well as Anthony Major has also been dealt with by the police. Yes, he has a case pending in court. That is still pending in court for when he threw the grenade on the carnival date. Investigation revealed that Flores and along with another man, Anthony Major, proceeded to rob these proprietors at this place and, which resulted in struggle between the proprietor and one of the male person resulting in him getting injured and died on the spot.”

Try to deal with more checks, try to keep a neighbour hood watch between individuals and with the neighbours also and last night paid off.”
