Milt gets his minutes, Cavs keep losing
His team, the Cleveland Cavaliers may be languishing in the division cellar with the worst record in the N.B.A. but just as Milton Palacio never forgets his roots in Belize, we in the jewel cannot fail to keep up with his career. While Milt has hardly reached anything approaching stardom, the point guard is averaging four point three points in forty-one games played this season. He also contributes just under three assists per game in twenty-four minutes of playing time each outing. On December thirteenth Milt had his best night of the season with thirteen points and ten rebounds in a loss to the Boston Celtics. One recent development that may affect Palacio’s future is the naming of a new coach. John Lucas was fired on Monday and replaced by assistant Keith Smart.
