Celebrity basketball raises funds for schools
It may have been for charity, but the players gave it all they had–and so did the fans. The numbers are in and Friday’s celebrity basketball games raised a total of one thousand, three hundred and fifty-four dollars. Those funds will be used to purchase fifty-one basketballs, enough to equip all of the Belize District primary schools with one each. The organisers would like to thank all those who contributed toward making the event a success.
