Japanese donate to Min. of Human Development
Meanwhile, in similar, though less partisan fashion, the Japan International Cooperation Agency today presented three Pentium powered computers and a LaserJet printer to the Ministry of Human Development. Coordinator of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers Programme, Mizutani Kyohei, handed over the equipment to Acting Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry, Anita Zetina. The donation will come in handy for the Ministry’s Policy and Planning Unit to help upgrade its data collection systems. Currently, there is one Japanese volunteer computer systems engineer who has been helping the Ministry to develop social statistics databases.
