Anglican Bishop Says We Must Follow Christ Child’s Example
As important at this time of the year as the things we eat and do are our reflections on the legend of the Christ Child and his entry into the world. Whether you believe or not, the importance of Christmas is more than just a holiday. Anglican Bishop Philip Wright told us that Christ came to help humans make the world we live in a better place and to heal our relationships with each other and that for that sacrifice to count, we must keep our focus during this festive season.
Bishop Phillip Wright, Anglican Diocese
“I think it goes back to the original message, a re-focus on why Christ came in the first place. And among those things that He sought to do was to show us to how to live with each other, to make love a priority; and to seek peace and justice and goodwill, and to simply try to make the world a better place. And if we can stay focused on those sorts of things, make them a part of our daily lives, so to speak, I think we will see the world, indeed, become a better place.”
