Family Asks Information for Safe Return of Eugenio Rodriguez
Father of two, twenty-four-year old Eugenio Rodriguez, was last seen two weeks ago when he came home from work as a security guard at Good Care Pharmacy on Cemetery Road. The Maskall villager resident at Dolphin Street in Belize City is employed with a security company and had not recently complained of any problems with anyone. But he had not picked up his last paycheck and has made no contact with any family members or anyone at all since he was last seen alive. Earlier this week, police began searches after receiving a formal report but those were fruitless. Today, his family members visited News Five and made a wider call to persons with information on Rodriguez’s whereabouts to speak up.
Anna Vasquez, Aunt of Eugenio Rodriguez
“He was last seen on the sixteenth, which was a Saturday; his boss said that he had left work and his cousin said he came home in his uniform; and they were going out to the park fest and that was the last time they saw him; they left him at home but they went out, so they don’t know what happened after that.”

“At this point does the family have particular fears, worries? Was he engaged in anything that could have caused harm to him?”
Anna Vasquez
“At this point I cannot say. But he doesn’t usually leave his Social Security card, and I’m not sure, but I think they say he hasn’t even collected his pay as yet and that’s not like him. And we do believe that something might have went wrong. So we are just basically pleading that anyone that has any information can just give us a call and let us know what is going on.”
Rodriguez is of dark complexion, a thick build with a short haircut and black mustache. The numbers to call are 626-1569 and ask for Melissa and 620-7734 and ask for Anna. You can also call the nearest police station or Crimestoppers.
