Security company robbed, thief identified

Shortly before three this evening, a lone gunman entered the offices of A.A.A. Security on North Front Street and held up its staff. According to an eyewitness who called in to report the incident to News 5, the security vehicle had just pulled up outside of the compound and the driver went inside the building. That’s when the armed man, wearing a stocking over his face, ran up the steps, grabbed a money bag from one of the employees and ran back downstairs. However, as the robber took off down the street, he pulled off the stocking and that’s when a number of persons were able to get a good look at the fleeing thief. If you think the young man’s action was careless, imagine the look on his face when he finally reached his destination and opened the bag, only to find it was empty. The police are still looking for their suspect, who has been identified by a number of witnesses.
