Jason Anderson and Reese Fitzgibbon in Court for Attempted Murders
On Monday night, police announced charges of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, dangerous harm, wounding and abetment to commit murder filed against twenty-year-old Jason Anderson and twenty-four-year-old Reese Fitzgibbon. This morning, the pair appeared before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford. Anderson and Fitzgibbon along with another person still being sought by police are accused of attempting to murder thirty-year-old Tyrone Barcelona, also known as “Beans,” and fifty-six year old Steve Wayne Finley on Iguana Street on Saturday afternoon. Charges of use of deadly means of harm, wounding of Barcelona and dangerous harm to Finley were also read, while Anderson was separately charged with abetment to commit murder.
They were remanded until their next court date and no bail was offered because the charges are indictable. Barcelona and Finley were together socializing when a black Nissan Altima drove up and two men exited. They fired shots in the men’s direction, catching Green in the left arm and Finley several times in the body. As we said, a third person is being sought in connection with the shooting and police have stepped up their operations in the area.
