Arrest Announced in Ladyville Double Murder

As you heard, three persons were charged in connection with the murder of Thomas Henry in Roaring Creek, who is one of four persons killed by gun violence on Tuesday. Tonight, police have also charged Jesse Mejia for the double murder of Casey Lozano and Marlon Spain that occurred in the Japan area of Ladyville. Mejia has been arrested and charged for two counts each of murder and use of deadly means of harm and one count each for wounding and grievous harm. Mejia has had a series of run-ins with the law: he was charged in July 2017 for the shooting of Elward McKay in Belize City. He was also charged for the September 2016 attempted murders of Frank and Leroy Tejeda.
