3 Charged for Murder of Thomas Henry
Belmopan Police say they’ve got a two-for-one murder case solved. This evening, police charged Tyler Herrera Cruz and Joseph Cadle for the killing of Thomas Henry, but they say the investigation has led them to solve another homicide in that jurisdiction. They aren’t able to release details on the second murder case that has been solved because they are wrapping up investigative work on that one.
But for now, they say Herrera-Cruz and Cadle shot and killed Henry on Tuesday night in the Another World area of Roaring Creek. Cadle was additionally charged for the attempted murder of Kimberly Smith and Orlando Smith Jr. He was also slapped with an additional charge of deadly means of harm of Kimberly Smith. Police say they also arrested and charged Israel Cadle for possession of an unlicensed firearm believed to be the murder weapon. Thomas Henry was shot and killed around ten-thirty on Tuesday night inside his home in Roaring Creek Village.
His family said that he was not the intended target – the gunmen went to kill his brother-in-law Orlando Smith, but he ran and got away. They then turned the gun on the house and a bullet caught Henry in the chest killing him, Kimberly Smith was also shot in the lower back.
