Ahmad Family to Address Phone Records in Murder Case

Now to another sensational case, the December twenty-eighth murder of Fareed Ahmad in Hattieville. News Five confirmed last week that police had met with Ahmad’s family to go over recently obtained phone records. This was intended to help the investigation by addressing two prevailing theories about Ahmad’s death inside his vehicle, for which Woman Police Constable Michelle Brown is remanded on a charge of murder. The first is that Ahmad and Brown had some close relationship and that issues between them may have led to his murder. The second is that other unknown actors in the Southside Special Assignment Team may have been involved and have since threatened the family. The Ahmad family has hired attorney Richard “Dickie” Bradley as a legal consultant and today he confirmed that the first theory has been scuttled. At a time of its choosing, he said, the family will come forward to share their views and concerns about this and other information coming to them.

“The family is having a meeting; they have looked at certain information that has been shared with them; they – as the media knows; I don’t know if it is official – the family have been present when the authorities went through the cell telephone. This idea that there was some kind of relationship between the two parties who were in the vehicle – there is no evidence of any communication between that young man and that young lady.”

“Not at all. I spoke with family members a few days [ago;] and they have confirmed to me – and they will come to the media – that in relation to their son, their brother’s cell phone, which was gone through by the phone hacking experts in their presence, there is nothing at all to say, ‘Meet me at the altar in your white dress.’ There is nothing that there is any communication between them from September of last year until the night of the incident; nothing. So you can see how by somebody in authority saying this is what may have happened and people out here already halla there is a relationship, there has so far been absolutely no evidence, no facts whatsoever to support that. There is another, even more disturbing situation; the family is carefully reviewing that and I understand that they are going to have a family meeting and they will come to the media in relation to that other matter.”
