Driver loses control, flees scene
An early morning collision on Faber’s Road has left one man suffering from a blow to the head and as many as three more running from police. The drama unfolded around nine today when this white Ford Escort was sideswiped by a red Pontiac Sunbird. According to the driver of the Ford, the accident happened so fast, he barely managed to avoid a head on collision.

“I mi the head east on Faber’s Road, when see a vehicle the come and mi the come head on into me. I cut weh and he slam me into the side, I knock into a next vehicle and end up in the drain yah.”

“Very fast, fly over the bump and lose control.”

“What happened to the driver?
Linford Gillett
“Everybody took off. Three people mi deh in the vehicle. I nevah see dah who or whatever, but they seh three guys mi deh in the vehicle and they run left the vehicle.”
Blood spots on the ground outside the Sunbird indicate the driver or his passengers might have been injured in the incident. At news time tonight, the police have yet to locate those persons for questioning.
