Cayo robber charged for crimes
A San Ignacio man has been charged in connection with a shooting and robbery that took place on Tuesday. Hershel Jimmy Brown of a Western Highway address in San Ignacio was charged with the crimes of robbery, wounding and use of deadly means of harm. It is alleged that on Tuesday night he entered the business premises of baker Nelson Alfaro, stole three hundred dollars at gunpoint and then shot Alfaro in the hand when the businessman tried to grab the gun.
