Court throws out case against Singh

In a follow up to a story we reported last week, U.D.P. Freetown candidate Dough Singh has won the latest round in his efforts to erect promotional bus stop shelters in the Belama area of Belize City. Singh told News 5 that the action in municipal court was thrown out when the prosecutor failed to present any evidence against him. Singh was still not sure however, whether his victory in court will be the end of his problems, as the city is still intent on removing the structures, which they say were never approved by municipal authorities. That will not stop him from going forward, however, as he plans to erect campaign billboards on top of the shelters in the near future.
