Belize City resident found murdered

Meanwhile, police are investigating the death of a construction worker in Belize City. Reports are that around ten-thirty this morning the body of nineteen year old Hector Roberto Medrano was found inside a house at number sixty-six thirteen Police Street. Police sources tell News 5 that the cause of death is suspected as strangulation as handprints were found on the victim’s neck. Police are now looking for Medrano’s roommate for questioning. A motive in the case has yet to be determined. Both workmen were hired by the owner to do renovations to the building and allowed to live on the property until the job was done.
