Man beats girlfriend; family takes revenge
Nobody seems to be making much of an issue about it, but a Belize City man lies in the K.H.M.H. tonight with some serious gunshot wounds. Reports to News 5 indicate that shortly before noon today, Glenford “Cracker” Middleton was hit by several bullets as he hung out in the neighbourhood of King Street and East Collet Canal. Middleton suffered injuries to his arm, abdomen and chin. Police tell News 5 that Middleton has declined to bring the matter to police as the shooting was apparently a family affair, carried out in revenge for the shooting victim’s mistreatment of his pregnant girlfriend.
