Man robbed in bathroom of Lipps Bar
A man was robbed of over seventeen hundred dollars worth of jewelry while at a night spot in Belize City. Twenty-four year old John Gongora told police that he was at Lipps Bar on Newtown Barracks around ten last Saturday night when the incident occurred. Gongora says he went to use the restroom and while there, two men attacked him from behind. One of the assailants hit him on the back of his head and choked him while the other stole his jewelry. The duo then escaped. Police investigations continue.
