9 yr. old: my stepfather forced me to have sex

Punta Gorda police are tonight investigating a disturbing report made by a nine-year-old girl. On Wednesday, in the presence of her mother, the child told the cops that since 1999 her stepfather had been having sex with her. The time of the abuse would have started when the girl was only six years old. Medical authorities have since confirmed that the nine-year-old has been carnally known. Police have yet to detain the stepfather for questioning, and in order to protect the child, the stepfather’s name is being withheld.
