Lucky Chiang holds art exhibit
While the world of watercolours might be traditionally relegated to children, for one Belizean the endless combination of diluted colours combine to express life like never before. Fifty-seven year old Lucky Chiang has been painting Belizean watercolour scenes since 1991, using the mountains, sea, rivers, jungles and his friends as subject matter. For the next two weeks, forty of Chiang’s pieces will be on display at the Mexican Cultural institute on Newtown Barracks. All the paintings are for sale. Chiang lives in Belmopan where he manages the Art Box Gift Shop.
