Corozal sewing factory also burns
Before we leave the subject of fire, we regret to report another major blaze, this one in Corozal. The Pearl Touch sewing factory, a Taiwanese owned business we profiled on this newscast in July, was largely destroyed over the weekend. We were unable to obtain a report on how the fire started, but we are informed that a number of machines were saved and that management intends to rebuild the facility.
