1 Charged in Sand Hill Stabbing
Jude Joseph Moody of Sand Hill Village was arraigned for attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford following a chopping incident that occurred on Friday night sometime around eleven o’clock in the village. An argument ensued between a group of persons which ended with twenty-six-year-old Ivan Hyde being chopped to the neck. Moody was detained and later charged for the crime as Hyde recovers in a stable condition at the K.H.M.H.

“Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they observed a male person by the name of Mister Hyde, suffering from a chopped wound to the left side of his neck. What police gathered so far was that Mister Hyde was at the residence of a friend at nineteen miles, Sand Hill Village. They were socializing when an argument ensued between a group of persons that were there present in that gathering and as a result, one of the male persons inflicted the chop wound to his neck. So far, police detained that male persons who was brought into custody and questioned and on yesterday’s date, that male person was arrested and charged for the crime of Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Dangerous Harm.”
Moody was remanded until August fourteen and was represented by Godwin Haylock.
