Registry Clerks Caught Forging ID Papers

Former registry employees Alvan Alvarez and Benedict Pascascio are tonight without jobs having been charged for forgery at the Registry of the Supreme Court. The two clerks are accused of forging two certificates last week and the Registrar General called in the police, who took the men into custody. They were formally arrested and charged on Friday and arraigned within hours. Soon after the incident came to light, they were relieved of their jobs.

“On Tuesday, the eighth of May, sometime after three p.m., police visited the Registrar General located at the Supreme Court building on Regent Street where they spoke to Miss Sarita Maharaj. They made a complaint that there had been several documents that appeared to be forged. As a result fop that police conducted an investigation and two male persons have been detained pending this investigation. The documents apparently; the seal on the documents were somewhat interfered with whoever was dealing with it.”

“It’s a birth certificate and a marriage certificate. We also had an arrest reference that forgery report at the Supreme Court. Two of the workers from that location were arrested and charged. The first one was Mister Alvan Alvarez and Mister Benedict Pascascio. Both were charged on Friday and they went to court on that date.”
