No Word on “High-Risk” Nepalese Entrants to Belize
The Ministry of Immigration and Nationality continues to investigate how two citizens of the Kingdom of Nepal were granted entry to Belize on landing at the Philip Goldson International Airport on Tuesday last, despite being considered high risk. News Five understands that they arrived on a COPA Airlines flight but their current whereabouts are unknown. C.E.O. Edmund Zuniga would not share details of the investigation today except to confirm that it is ongoing.

“That is a matter that is currently under investigation; I would not want us to talk about that issue until we have properly investigated it.”
Aaron Humes
“Would you have a timeline at least as to where that investigation is going?”
Edmund Zuniga
“I know we have started; I cannot say how long it is going to take or where it is going to lead us.”
