Morgan Heritage will return to give long awaited concert
The Morgan Heritage concert scheduled as part of the Labour Day Weekend Festivities was postponed due to the Influenza A (H1N1) threat. But it is back on the map. The fourteen-band entourage was to perform at the City Centre on April thirtieth, but returned home only after a day’s stay at the jewel. Today the show’s promoter, D.J. Dalla, came to our studios with the new date for the concert…July eighteenth.

“What is it that they can expect come July eighteenth?”
Troy ‘DJ Dalla’ Flowers, Promoter, Morgan Heritage Concert
“A bigger and better show. One, it’s gonna be summer, a lot of people are gonna be out of school. We have a lot of people who are studying abroad who will be coming down for the summer break. So it’s gonna be a bigger and better show. And we have been dialoguing with Morgan since the swine flu and the postponement of the show and they are looking forward to come back and it’s going to be bigger and better. It will be at the Civic Centre and we just wan to inform the public for the people who purchased tickets, the ticket is still valid we will have an amnesty period where you bring in back the ticket that you purchased and we give you a new ticket. For the sponsors, who we gave tickets to, their ticket is still valid also but we will exchange the ticket also. For the people who win tickets on the radio and TV, the ticket is not valid anymore.”
Tickets will be sold at fifty-dollars in advance and sixty at the door.
