4 Firearms Removed from Streets; Police Chasing Diamond Bar Robbers
Police on Wednesday removed four firearms off the street in a span of about eight hours, the last as a result of a robbery at a north side establishment. At about twelve thirty in the afternoon, a thirty-eight revolver with four live rounds was discovered on Fern Lane. Four hours later on Partridge Street Extension, it was a nine-millimeter pistol with three live rounds hidden in a black plastic bag beside a tomb in the Lord’s Ridge Cemetery. And an hour after that, an abandoned boat in Conch Shell Bay yielded another nine-millimeter pistol. Just before eight p.m. as explained by ASP Alejandro Cowo, there was a robbery at Diamond Entertainment at the corner of Saint Thomas and Dunn Streets and as police were responding the robbers fled the area, leaving behind yet another firearm.

“There was a robbery at the corner of Saint Thomas Street and Dunn Street; I think it’s Diamond Restaurant/Bar. And the suspects that were involved in the robbery, upon fleeing the location, they had dropped the firearm and that is when it was found by police.”
