Two injured in city shootings
In crime news from the city, two men have been injured in separate shooting incidents. Police report that on Saturday night eighteen-year-old Aaron Lizama of Second Street was shot in the hip after encountering a man at a party with whom he had a previous misunderstanding. Lizama was admitted to the K.H.M.H. in a stable condition, while police are looking for the shooter.
On Monday night thirty-two year old Linden Arnold of Mopan Street was shot in the wrist as he walked toward the intersection of Mopan and Ebony Streets. Arnold told police that he heard several shots, saw a man he recognised as Jah Ninja firing a handgun and then felt a sharp pain in his wrist. Police are looking for Jah Ninja.
