Thieves Couldn’t Get Away from Police after Jolly Bees Robbery
A trio of thieves was busted over the weekend after holding up a restaurant on Euphrates Avenue. An Indian manager inside Jolly Bees and several of his patrons, all medical students, were robbed of an undisclosed sum of money, as well as personal items while having a meal inside the establishment. The robbers weren’t as lucky in getting away scot-free; in fact, they were met by a team of police officers on patrol in the area.

“The Jolly Bees Restaurant was held up by three male persons. Present inside the establishment was the manager of the restaurant, Mr. Delip Kumar along with other Indian-descent medical students who were having lunch at the time inside the restaurant when three male persons entered one with a firearm and they held up the students, along with the manager and the two employees that were inside of the restaurant. Stolen from them were assorted items being cell phones, cash and the cash register and other monies that the person had. Police quick response in the area led to the detention of four male persons who are presently detained and police are looking at charges to be levied against them sometime today.”
