Belizean students awarded for academic excellence
School is still out, but that doesn’t mean Belizean students aren’t making their mark. This morning, Aimee Flores of Holy Redeemer Primary School received a new desktop computer from Intelco, her reward for scoring the highest percentile in the 2002 Primary School Examinations. Meanwhile, a release from the Ministry of Education announced this morning that government has awarded Kimberley Haughton and Deanne Barrow with open scholarships based on their performance in the 2002 Cambridge International A-Level Examinations. Both young ladies were students of St. John’s Junior College.
