Plenty damage, no injuries in roundabout wreck

Traffic on the Northern Highway was bottlenecked at the second roundabout after a midday accident left two Belize City drivers shaken but unhurt. According to one eyewitness, there was little that Randolph Ramirez, the driver of the tour bus, could have done to avoid the collision.
Marlon Longsworth, Eyewitness
“As I mi di come out of the factory, I observe the Mercedes the come this way going towards Coney Drive…off of the roundabout. And the truck, the red truck over deh the come from Belize City going up. And they nevah even brakes, the truck no even brakes, nothing, it hit the Benz on the broadside and spin it and that was quick and easy. It’s a problem and I guess somebody have to address it…this dah everyday, everyday.”
Even though neither driver was injured both vehicles suffered extensive damage.
