Landy’s & Sons in Orange Walk is Targeted by Thieves
And from robberies in the city to a burglary in the north. Today police said that Landy’s and Sons, a hardware store on the Belize-Corozal Road in Orange Walk Town was burglarized between Wednesday night and this morning. This is the second time in recent times the businessman has been robbed. Back in April, his house was burglarized while he was away. This time, Landy Burns reports that a trove of surveillance cameras was stolen items. Police say they have no value for items stolen and that the business is doing an assessment to determine if other goods were taken.

“Mister John Burns, a businessman of Orange Walk, who is in charge of Landy’s and Sons hardware store, on Corozal-Belize Road, reported that on the six p.m on the thirteen of June and eight a.m on the fourteenth June the business was burglarized. So far what they have listed as stolen have been twenty-four CTV security cameras. The investigators are out there, police are out there as we speak and an inventory is being done by the business to ascertain what else been stolen from the business.”
