Thieves Identified in Creole Wagans Robbery
Creole Wagans located on ‘E’ Street was the target of robbers on Monday around two-thirty in the afternoon. The perpetrators only managed to take a small amount of cash and some fashion jewelry, but held owner Jesucita Reyes at gunpoint. Even though we are told that the robbers disconnected the surveillance cameras while inside the store, their images were caught as they entered the yard. Today, police say that they know the persons they are looking for.
Insp. Wilfredo Ferrufino, C.I.B., Eastern Division
“The business person at that time, Ms Jesucita Reyes, reported that about1:30 p.m., she was in the store alone when four male persons of Creole descent entered the store and one of them pulled out a firearm and they all demanded money. She led them to the cash of the business and about thirty dollars in cash was taken and some fashion jewelry was stolen. No one was injured. Police are investigating. We have several persons wanted for that incident and the investigation continues.”
