Price of 100lb cylinder of goes down

The cost of fuel at the pump increased on Monday by sixty cents per gallon, but there is a bit of good news to report in respect of butane prices. Government announced today an immediate decrease of three dollars in the price of a hundred pound cylinder of butane. Belize City and Corozal residents will now pay eighty-seven dollars, while in Orange Walk the price is eighty-eightdollars. In the west, in San Ignacio and Belmopan the hundred pound cylinder of butane is being sold for eighty-nine dollars, and for ninety dollars in Benque. Down south the prices are the highest as usual, with Dangriga residents paying ninety-one and Punta Gorda residents paying ninety-two dollars. The new prices take effect today.
