Vehicle Recovered in St. Matthews Robbery; Jewelry Still Missing
One last piece of information from the police….Businesswoman Bibiana Kus reported to police that two armed men stormed her property in Saint Matthew Village on Saturday night after nine and stole an assortment of jewelry and her vehicle. Quick police action led to the recovery of the vehicle but the trove of stolen jewelry is yet to found. Police have one man in custody. ACP Joseph Myvett tells us more:

“Shortly before nine, a male person, whom she recognized, along with another person, entered her home, one of whom apparently had a firearm and as a result her house was searched by these persons. She was relieved of jewelries, as well as the keys for her ford ranger pickup, which the culprits took before making good their escape. A coordinated police operation led to the interception of the vehicle by Hattieville Police. One person is in custody pending this investigation. Police is seeking one other person in regards to this investigation which is still ongoing. The vehicle has since been recovered; however, the jewelries have not yet been recovered.”
